About Bridget Zecher
I am a dedicated, compassionate, and hard-working student, majoring in Nursing with a minor in Spanish at the University of Virginia. I have a strong passion for pediatrics and critical care, and am eagerly seeking a new graduate nursing position in these specialties. Upon graduation in May 2025, I will have completed over 700 direct care and shadowing hours across several specialties to include: Pediatric ICU, Acute Pediatrics, Cardiac IMU, Cardiac ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, General Medicine, Obstetrics, Psychiatric, and Public Health nursing. Currently, I am a teaching assistant for third-year students in neuropharmacology, am conducting a self-driven research project investigating primary prevention strategies for adolescents at risk for eating disorders, and work as a fitness instructor. Well-versed in Spanish, I also bring strong communication skills to diverse patient populations. These experiences highlight my passion for the promotion of overall well-being, supportive education, and compassionate mentorship. I am committed to providing holistic, individualized care and patient education, and am excited to apply these strengths as an RN to support my future patients.
