ABOUT BRIDGET MISKELL

Bridget Miskell leads finance & operations at Wagner Foundation, where she manages the core functions across finance, HR/talent, facilities, and grants management. She is dedicated to building the systems, processes, and team culture that enable the foundation to deliver on its mission with clarity, efficiency, and accountability.With more than 15 years of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit operations, Bridget brings deep expertise in both grantmaking strategy and the organizational infrastructure required to sustain impact. Before joining Wagner, she supported philanthropic portfolios at The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation and The Klarman Family Foundation, and directed finance and operations at the Boston Education Fund.Bridget is recognized as a problem-solver who thrives on organizational development and building partnerships that strengthen the philanthropic ecosystem. At Wagner, she works closely with colleagues and grantee partners to ensure the Foundation’s grantmaking process is transparent, supportive, and aligned with its values.Originally drawn to the nonprofit sector through her passion for the performing arts, Bridget continues to carry forward that same spirit of creativity and collaboration in her dedication to philanthropy and systems-change work.Bridget earned her MBA at Boston University with a concentration in Social Impact and holds a BA in History from The American University, where she also minored in French and Dance.A third-generation Cape Codder, Bridget is also a true lover of the outdoors. She can often be found cycling or hiking along seaside roads and trails across New England or further afield exploring new states and countries.
