Responsible for leading supply chain acute and non-acute operations in warehouse operations, system asset inventory, analytics supporting supply chain operations, project management and performance improvement. Plays a key lead role in supply chain/operations performance improvement initiatives by functioning as an analyst, facilitator, consultant, and/or project manager as required. Ensures that improvements are made in supply chain operational practice to improve quality and reduce cost of operations at MedStar sites through any of the following: resource utilization, operational assessments, productivity management and other improvement methods. Ensures high quality of both the process and the results of the work. Ensures that appropriate change management principals are applied in the areas impacted by change.
