As a CPA with a strong foundation in both public accounting and industry, I bring a well-rounded perspective to financial operations and reporting. I currently serve as a Staff Accountant II at US Foods, working within the Controller’s Group at one of the nation’s largest foodservice distributors. My role allows me to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement are key.Before joining US Foods, I was an Associate in the Assurance practice at Forvis Mazars, where I had the opportunity to work closely with privately-held middle market clients. I enjoyed the challenge of tailoring audit services to meet the unique needs of each business, and I valued the relationships built through that work.I’m a proud alumna of Illinois State University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting.Outside of work, I’m passionate about giving back to my community. I volunteer with Cat Guardians, a no-kill cat shelter, and I’m an active member of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance, where I support initiatives that promote the advancement of women in the accounting profession.I’m always open to connecting with fellow professionals, sharing insights, and learning from others in the field.
