The bulk of my career has been with my family company, Guard Publishing which publishes The Register-Guard newspaper. My functions are primarily corporate planning and research. I have significant marketing and public relations experience as well. I was the prime mover in the creation of the Baker Family Foundation and continue to serve as its Executive Director and President. I have served on numerous non-profit boards and as president of 6 of them.
