As a fourth-year student at the Leeds School of Business, I am passionate about the fields of management and entrepreneurship. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in business principles, while my practical experiences have honed my skills in sales, customer service, and operational management.My hands-on internships and part-time roles have allowed me to immerse myself in the professional world, shadowing territory managers, attending national training labs, and assisting in marketing efforts. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of business operations but also reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in the medical device industry.At Spinal Simplicity, I gained valuable insights into the life of a Medical Sales Representative. By shadowing professionals in the field, participating in cadaver lab training, and observing live cases in the OR, I developed a comprehensive understanding of sales processes and the importance of customer relationships. Additionally, my contributions to the marketing team, including creating PowerPoint presentations and managing Excel spreadsheets, showcased my ability to support various business functions effectively.My part-time work during academic breaks has further refined my skills. Whether managing inventory, driving retail sales, or enhancing my customer service abilities, each role has contributed to my growth as a business professional. The summer of ’23, in particular, was pivotal in enhancing my sales skills and understanding the dynamics of retail management.As I continue my studies and professional development, I am eager to leverage my experiences and education to make meaningful contributions to the business world. I am driven by a desire to innovate and excel in the field of management and entrepreneurship, with a particular interest in the healthcare and medical device sectors.
