   I manage the simulation software team at Moffatt and Nichol. We simulate the actions of cargo container terminals for purposes of planning or optimizing their design. We also provide emulation interfaces so that software designed for operating the terminals in the real world can look at our simulation as thought it were the real thing. That way it can be tested in a simulated environment before it is rolled out to the real multi-billion dollar terminal where mistakes requiring reconfiguration etc. are very costly.
