Serve as a subject matter expert in occupational and process safety—driving compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement through field engagement, coaching, and collaboration.Core ResponsibilitiesAct with integrity; provide accurate, policy-aligned guidance and ensure compliance with Enterprise policies and OSHA standards.Lead by example in personal safety and professionalism; model “above-and-beyond” compliance.Apply safety policies, OSHA regulations and best practices to LPG/NGL operations, translating technical requirements into practical solutions.Maintain operational knowledge of LPG/NGL systems, storage, transfer, and pipeline activities to mitigate risks.Deliver timely support to operations, maintenance, and projects; prioritize needs and follow through on commitments.Foster teamwork and unified guidance with Safety and PSM peers; communicate openly and professionally to build trust.Identify emerging issues and implement innovative, efficient safety solutions.Intervene on unsafe conditions or behaviors; coach and escalate as needed.Facilitate field coaching, safety meetings, and training; reinforce life-critical procedures and permit-to-work standards.Support risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions; drive learning and continuous improvement.Plan and organize priorities across multiple sites to deliver consistent outcomes.LPG/NGL FocusSafe handling, transfer, and storage of propane; verification of pressure relief, overfill protection, bonding/grounding, and hot work controls.Terminal and pipeline safety controls, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, line‑opening, and purging practices; process hazard awareness near pressurized systems.Emergency response readiness aligned to flammable gases/liquids; coordination with local agencies and internal stakeholders.
