At the MacArthur Foundation, we are committed to advancing a more just, verdant, and peaceful world, and as an Associate in Core Services, I contribute to this mission by providing strategic support and managing key operations that ensure our work is executed efficiently and equitably.A central aspect of my role is co-managing the Foundation’s art collection—a responsibility that goes far beyond curating exhibitions and maintaining the security and integrity of the collection. I am involved in conducting thorough research on artists, writing detailed essays to bring deeper understanding to the works, and finding innovative ways to elevate awareness of our collection’s impact on cultural development and social good. The collection serves as a powerful tool for public education, fostering a connection between art and the social issues that drive the Foundation’s mission. In addition, I support the Managing Director of Core Services in overseeing various operational areas, including grants management, knowledge management, and event planning. I assist with budget preparation and forecasting, coordinate traveling, and ensure smooth administrative processes across the organization.By assisting and coordinating multiple projects, I ensure that each function within Core Services operates with precision, contributing to the Foundation’s vision.I am passionate about using culture, education, and collaboration to create lasting change, and I take pride in supporting an institution that strives to make the world a better place for future generations.
