About Brian Williams
An aspiring scientist, social engineer, lawyer, activist, designer, entrepreneur, and visionary. One who\'s actively looking for ways to uplift marginalized communities everywhere. He earned his Bachelors at MIT with the class of 2022, majoring in Biological Engineering and minoring in Black Studies. After graduation, Williams is excited to join the class of 2027 at Stanford Law School, pursuing a joint J.D. and Masters in Health Policy. He will spend some time working full-time at Deloitte Consulting in their Government Public & Services practice immediately prior, as he elected for a two-year deferral. Navigating through science, engineering, law, and activism, he sees this point in time as an opportunity to leave his mark in design and entrepreneurship. Long term, Williams wants to be an engineer of social solutions to our most pressing problems. One who reaches deep into their toolbox of social justice, pulling the levers of activism, advocacy, democracy, and legislation to radically change our world – to improve our social institutions at the root. There is so much more room for scholarship and advocacy at the intersection of public health and racial justice, and he would love to be there. Long term, he is eager to underscore the influence of race in legal histories in order to encourage his development as an activist and legal scholar, ready to enter and lead conversations around the criminal injustice system, anti-racist public education curriculums, and national reparatory movements later in his career.
