Brian Tully is an Acquia Certified Drupal Developer and most recently a Software Engineering Senior Advisor at iTech Solutions. I have extensive experience developing web experiences and products with one goal in mind: to build high quality software that delights the end user and provides an optimal user experience. Over the years, I have built on my solid technical foundation by taking every opportunity to learn new technologies; as a result, I have technical skills across the complete software stack, front-end to back-end.As a Lead Technical Consultant and Performance & Security Specialist within Acquia’s Professional Services, I led the Launch Readiness practice — helping countless enterprise companies, government agencies, and educational institutions test and prepare their applications to ensure a performant, secure, and stable launch and/or high traffic event on the Acquia Platform. A notable and recent example was helping NBCUniversal prepare nbcolympics.com for the Paris 2024 Olympics. In my years at Acquia I also developed a reputation for being a skilled debugger and problem solver, where no problem was too esoteric or unmanageable — technical or otherwise. I frequently was called upon to help diagnose and treat “mission critical” emergencies.I pride myself on tackling tough technical problems with an attention to detail, determination, calm, humility, empathy, clear and respectful communication, and a sense of humor. I’ve cultivated deep knowledge in areas like load testing, application performance monitoring, Edge CDN & WAF (Akamai/Cloudflare) and site reliability engineering (SRE). I also strongly value good user experience (UX) and clear documentation (technical writing). I’m open to anywhere remote and any hybrid roles within proximity to Dutchess County, New York.
