My practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions with an emphasis on growth oriented owner-operated and family-owned businesses with operations throughout North America. I concentrate on acquiring a clear understanding of the client’s business objectives and then creating solutions to achieve those objectives which allows me to provide advice on day-to-day business matters and long-term strategic goals. I am experienced in dealing with share purchase transactions, asset acquisitions and dispositions and share subscriptions and investments. I have worked with bidders and targets, acquisition financiers, and investment dealers. I also act on a broad range of commercial matters including shareholder rights, strategic alliances, joint ventures, limited partnerships and software licenses.
