While sharing the building history of 97 Orchard Street at the turn of the twentieth century, my role as an Educator at the Tenement Museum also allows me to serve as a facilitated storyteller of the lives residents led. Providing an immersive and engaging experience for each visitor over the duration of hour-long tours, I purposefully and sensitively draw connections between the legacy of immigration to the United States from over a hundred years ago and the reality of many newcomers\'s experiences today.
