Through my work experience, I have discovered a desire to be involved in the manufacturing of products. I enjoy the processes by which products are made, and take pride in providing the best quality product for our customers in the most efficient manner. 1. Technical Manager

   Formica Group North America

   Feb 2022 — Present

   Lead a team of a Quality Control Manager, four (4) Process Engineers, and five (5) Quality Assurance Technicians that support all areas of direct manufacturing, supplier quality, and new product integration.o This team is responsible for productivity improvements, scrap reduction projects, operator training efforts, and new product development projects in a full scale 24/7 manufacturing environment. • Facilitate operator involved, cross functional A3 style improvement teams led by Production Department Mangers, Process Engineers, and Plant Supervisors. Projects identified and prioritized through a collaborative effort with the Plant Controller.• Own and manage the Bill of Material (BOM) process for the manufacturing operation. This includes the formulation and then handoff to the Data Analysis group, along with the Plant Controller for all manufactured goods in the Formica Evendale facility. • Budget creation, commitment, and ownership for yield improvement projects across all product item classes in the manufacturing operation. Review and creation of standards for piece rates for item classes in the ERP system in collaboration with the Plant Controller. • Coaching experience in the Active Supervision Tour model, utilizing a focused, tiered approach to daily production management. This includes adherence to pacing/tracking boards and production targets in the plants. This process focuses on targets, achievements, and variances/gaps to goal, to drive continuous improvement in meeting or exceeding production and quality targets. • Management representative and owner for Formica North America third party certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Conduct all internal audits for both certifications, as well as facilitate and conduct all external audits with the certification bodies.
