Since entering the recruitment profession in 1975 my experience has involved working within and managing permanent and temporary recruitment businesses in most major centres throughout mainland UK. This has covered many niche sectors such as Office, Industrial, Executive Appointments, Sales, IT, Accounting, Shipping, Nursing & Paramedics, Education. This has involved opening new branches, starting new businesses, acquiring and selling businesses as well as contributing to local and national debate on employment matters.Having started on the ground floor of the recruitment industry and served my apprenticeship then working at most levels in the sector, I can truly say that I know what it is like to sit in your seat.This experience has informed my knowledge and ability which has been used as a start up mentor, Chair of School Governing bodies as well as Non Executive Director/Trustee of various organisations.
