Consultant to the California State Senate Committee on Governmental Organization with 15 years of experience in the California Capitol community.I prepare publicly available bill analyses, staff Committee Chair legislation, and negotiate legislative measures across a diverse policy portfolio. Specifically, I provide policy recommendations to the Committee Chair, Senate leadership, and Committee members. My work involves coordinating with the Governor’s administration, state agencies, issue advocates, constituents, and international representatives. I organize informational hearings pertinent and timely to the Committee’s jurisdiction. At the conclusion of each legislative session, I co-produce a biennial legislative report on the Committee’s bill work.The Committee\'s jurisdiction covers a broad spectrum of state governance including State agency operations, public works and contracts, emergency services, State cybersecurity, State procurement, State emblems and official acts, the California State Auditor and State Fire Marshal, interstate agreements, and more.
