ABOUT BRIAN SANGER

I have been an Associate Attorney at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, practicing primarily in the area of Family Law, since January 2025. I completed joint Juris Doctor and Master of Public Policy degrees at the University of Massachusetts School of Law and became licensed to practice law in Colorado in October 2022. I started my legal career as a Deputy Public Defender at the Colorado Public Defender’s Colorado Springs office, where I worked until joining my current firm. While in law school I completed internships with the Colorado Office of the Public Defender summer 2020, the Rhode Island Office of the Public Defender Fall 2021, and the Federal Public Defender for the District of MA, NH, and RI spring 2022. I also completed an externship in the Governor\'s Office of Legal Counsel in Colorado summer 2021. I have a strong affinity towards engaging work providing legal aid, advice, and defense to clients, and support reform of harsh existing laws which specifically target specific populations and perpetuate poverty and inequality. Prior to embarking on the J.D./M.P.P. I worked in the mutual fund and retirement plan industry between 20••••19, and in banking from 20••••15. I have an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
