About Brian J. Safran
I am Manager, Global Mobility Operations at Meta (formerly known as Facebook) where I oversee immigration and relocation program operations and lead key complex HR and global mobility program initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. With over 15 years of immigration, global mobility and HR experience, I have developed a deep expertise in program and operations strategy; project and vendor management; and HR data, analytics and technology; coupled with a strong understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements affecting immigration and employee mobility. I have a Global Mobility Specialist- Talent Management (GMS-T) certification from Worldwide ERC and a Master\'s degree in Global Affairs from New York University, where I also completed advanced coursework in Visual Analytics and Tableau. My mission is to support a diverse and talented workforce through the deployment of immigration and global mobility strategy, vision, priorities, goals, objectives, and metrics. I am passionate about delivering a premium people experience at scale by enabling data-driven decision making across all aspects of program management, building new workflows from the ground up to optimize processes, and driving technology enhancements by identifying opportunities for automation, developing detailed business justifications and proposals, and partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive all stages of design, implementation and deployment.
