Analytics manager and consultant with 7+ years building data applications and business intelligence solutions with emphasis on the end user experience. My experience spans all steps of the design and development process, including engaging with users to capture requirements, producing design materials, developing data pipelines, delivering UIs, and architecting supporting platforms. Through this I have successfully delivered value given multiple business constraints, whether technical, timing, or financial. My ideal role would be supporting others in gaining the same experience while continuing to build products and tools that enable users to make informed decisions to achieve their business goals.

1. Senior Engineering Manager

   Acxiom

   Apr 2022 — Present

   Directly led an agile team of 3 front end developers and 4 business intelligence analysts to build decision support applications and visualizations within the Looker Extension Framework while delivering custom reporting and analytics projects to major client accounts. Development and custom client initiatives required leading cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and other supporting roles to ensure the delivery of cohesive and integrated products.Developed a Multi-Touch Attribution application to simulate how changes in marketing spend will impact customer conversions. The application allows the user to enter real world constraints and forecast new scenarios directly from the UI. The application is deployed as a React/Node.js Single Page Application (SPA) in the Looker Extension Framework leveraging a full-stack cloud-based infrastructure comprised of Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow (Apache Beam), BigQuery, Vertex AI (Python) and Google Cloud Functions for orchestration,Developed an interactive data profiling application to allow marketers to gain insights about their audiences through Acxiom data products. The profiling tool was built to allow users to filter on any demographic or other attribute available to create new cuts of their audiences within the UI. Insights remained actionable through individual level data being retained behind the report.
