ABOUT BRIAN ROLNICK-FOX
As far back as I can remember, I’ve had an innate sense of empathy, curiosity, and a desire to help people connect with others and grow. These instincts are the through-line across my career whether working with Fortune 500 clients such as Citigroup, Goodyear, and Prudential or working inside nonprofit organizations such as Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, Birthright Israel Foundation, and Hillel. I recently made a career shift to re-enter the Jewish nonprofit field bringing my learning and development experience with me. I am passionate about our collective Jewish heritage and helping the Jewish people thrive. Given my previous experience as an experiential educator and fundraiser, I know the nooks and crannies of designing and implementing an experiential program for young people, planning and executing a 400-person annual gala, or sitting with donors to discuss their philanthropic investment. I am excited about bringing that understanding into my talent development and culture conversations with colleagues to help them be the best nonprofit professionals they can be. The best learning experiences – like great conversations – are both meaningful and playful. From a young age we make meaning by playing. This is how we learn throughout our lives. My aim is to bring meaning and play into my work of helping others connect and grow and supporting the work of building up the Jewish community.
