When I started using GIS I really didn\'t have a full appreciation of the incredible power of location. As I\'ve grown throughout my long career at Esri Canada (and before it), working personally with dozens of customers and thousands indirectly, it\'s become clear just how transformational a proper understanding of location can be to a business.While powerful on it\'s own, there is more to this than simply modelling or mapping location data and putting \'dots on a map\'. I\'ve seen first-hand how connecting that spatial context to other information sources & business systems, Aligning their use in support of re-envisioning business processes can enable large and small organizations to rapidly realize their goals for business transformation.
