I lead the development and execution of Black Health programming with a strong focus on culturally grounded communications and strategic public engagement. From staffing and training to protocol development and the creation of outreach materials, I ensure that all elements of our work are both impactful and community-responsive.Central to my role is managing relationships with subcontracting agencies, overseeing data systems, and addressing emerging programmatic issues with clarity and precision. I supervise both direct and indirect team members, providing guidance on communications strategies, messaging consistency, and community outreach approaches.I also ensure the seamless delivery of services by overseeing program deliverables, budgets, data quality, and compliance. Communications plays a critical role in this work—from crafting compelling narratives that highlight impact, to developing multilingual materials, and leading the design of campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.Additionally, I lead the development of program-specific evaluations and translate findings into presentations, publications, and trainings—amplifying the voice and impact of Black Health across public health platforms.
