Building and scaling production-grade Large Language Model (LLM) systems that solve real business problems across text and vision domains- Production LLM Deployments: Designed and shipped multiple high-traffic LLM services (including fine-tuned and instruction-tuned models) with robust observability, latency SLAs, and cost controls- System Architecture & Safety: Defined architectures, libraries, and guardrails for safe integration of LLM and multi-modal capabilities into existing products, including prompt-engineering patterns, evaluation pipelines, and fallback strategies- Model Optimisation: Fine-tuned open-weight multi-modal models to hit price/performance targets, leveraging parameter-efficient tuning, quantisation, and inference optimisation- End-to-End Engineering Ownership: Accountable for all code paths entering production, from design review through CI/CD, automated testing, and runtime monitoring- Hiring & Onboarding: Created the engineering hiring loop (interview structure, evaluation rubric, shadowing) and a hands-on onboarding program to quickly ramp new engineers on LLM concepts, tooling, and production constraints.
