About Brian Dooley
After working in international development from 20••••25, I recently transitioned to working with the American College of Cardiology (ACC). I am very excited to apply my experience in helping governments design and optimize national data systems to ACC\'s NCDR. The National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) is the largest, most comprehensive, outcomes-based cardiovascular patient data repository in the U.S. For over 25 years, NCDR has been helping hospitals, health systems, centers, and practices improve patient outcomes and the quality of cardiovascular care through data-driven insights, analysis, research, and performance benchmarking. As the Manager for Data Analytics, Engineering and Reporting, I am lucky to work with an amazing team of developers and an impactful data system. I am accountable for managing the development and support of data pipelines, data exports, custom reports, and dashboards within the Data Analytics Team for the National Cardiovascular Data Registries (NCDR). My responsibilities include managing developers and development quality controls, identifying opportunities for improving data pipelines, troubleshooting data issues, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and optimizing processes. I strive to drive key data projects and serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and promote innovative and cost-effective data-driven strategies that increase value to stakeholders.
