As an Academic Ally for the WorkLink program at Penn State University, I support inclusive postsecondary education by mentoring and assisting WorkLink students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they audit Penn State courses. In this role, I provide academic guidance, study support, and in‑class assistance to help students navigate coursework, strengthen understanding, and build confidence in an academic environment. I meet regularly with my assigned student to collaborate on homework, reinforce learning objectives, and offer consistent encouragement throughout the semester.
