Brian co-founded Weathervane Music Organization, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization, best known for producing the recording documentary video series, Shaking Through. McTear created Weathervane\'s Remix Membership Program, converting Shaking Through\'s viewers into supporting members by providing them access to the high-end recorded materials (audio, video, photos, text and more) from Shaking Through recordings that they could mix and learn from themselves at home. This program was truly the first of its kind, when it was first launched.In 2014, with generous support from The Muse Educational Foundation, McTear created The Weathervane EDU Program, a simple platform that provides audio, video and text learning materials derived from the Shaking Through series for Schools that teach the recording arts and sciences.
