I’m Brian McLaughlin, a Design Director based in NYC with over 15 years experience in product,games and most recently mixed reality.I have worked across a number of industries including entertainment, automotive, e-commerce andhealthcare. During that time I have been lucky enough to work with a range of top clients includingHBO, Netfix, Google, Facebook and Airbnb. Receiving a Red Dot award for my work on Smartpediatric growth chart app.I’m a conceptual thinker who is passionate about design and embraces ambiguous challenges. Ihave played a number of roles over the years, most recently as Design Director at ustwo, where Icombined my gaming and product background.I take a hands on approach to leadership, collaborating closely with teams and staying close to thework. A ‘maker’ at heart I like to get tangible fast and lean towards a quick iterative approach withearly stage prototyping and validation of product / games features
