About Brian Grove
Brian Grove is a Senior Managing Director in FTI’s Strategic Communications segment and is based in Houston, Texas. As a part of the segment’s Energy and Natural Resources and Public Affairs practices, Mr. Grove advises clients including domestic and international oil and gas companies, petrochemical manufacturers, midstream operators, oil field service companies, energy-related industrials, renewable energy producers and regional, national, and international industry associations. Additionally, Mr. Grove is also a member of the firm’s Crisis and Litigation Communications practice where he advises a wide variety of energy and industrial clients in preparedness, incident response, and litigation communications.With over 25 years of experience in public affairs, policy, and media relations, with specific expertise in energy and conservation-related issues, Mr. Grove is uniquely qualified to help energy and industrial companies navigate complex communications and public affairs challenges. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Grove served as senior director of corporate development for Chesapeake Energy in the Appalachian basin where he led the company’s regional public affairs and media efforts from the initial stages of development through peak levels of activity in the Marcellus Shale play. Mr. Grove also served as Deputy Secretary of Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and in several other executive roles for three governors. He has served as a chief of staff in the Pennsylvania Senate, executive director of a conservation and recreation non-profit, and has worked professionally on numerous presidential, gubernatorial, congressional and state level elections. Mr. Grove holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he has been recognized with the Legacy of Leadership award for distinguished alumni leaders and has participated in the executive program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
