The information technology industry and academia have been at the core of my professional experiences for the bulk of my career. My positions have varied from CTO and Director levels, with global responsibilities for VMware, EMC and Dell Technologies, I have managed Marketing, Product Management and High Impact Engineering Teams, focused on infrastructure technologies, solutions, platforms, services, and automation of both private and public cloud workloads. I have a proven track record of managing high-performance teams, supporting business development and delivering sustained incremental revenue growth by developing partner relationships, field enablement and effective marketing materials.As an expert in the areas of VMware and EMC integration\'s I keep up to date with a variety of non-EMC technologies and am able to tie in the integration of the EMC IT portfolio across all facets of technology. I can eloquently articulate digital and IT transformation conversations. Specializing in discussions around Cloud (CAPEX to OPEX models) DevOps, Agile Development, Security, Cloud, Containers (Kubernetes and Tanzu) as well as discussions around Blockchain, IOT and other emerging data center strategic transformational changes. I was Field CTO at Dell TechnologiesMy ability to communicate technical solutions is second to none. I deliver on what I commit to, I consistently drive global sales and competitive campaigns. I speak at industry events, both marketing and technology enablement functions. The stages range from (but are not limited to); Dell/EMC World, HIMMS, MHTA conferences and other industry events. I am a recognized leader in IT circles.In 2004 I co-founded an innovative device aimed at cloud network management and SOX compliance. During my four-year tenure as CTO, I took a new concept to a revenue-earning product in less than 12 months, and successfully raised a multi-million dollar round of venture financing. The company was awarded the “Best in New Technology,” I was awarded the \"Who\'s Who in Technology\" by Ventures Magazine, and nominated as “Innovator of the Year” in Technology Today.I am an Internet platform entrepreneur, and drove three startups from idea/inception to early market acceptance, two of them as founder.I have authored several books on Unix (currently used University curriculum), providing technical training and enablement.
