I have been doing more lead activities lately. Managing junior developers offshore. Designed and developed small applications to support a much bigger one. Using.NET Core with micro services using Docker, Redis, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB. Working with Prism, WPF, Angular reading real-time and historical sensor data using REST API and SignalR. Getting very familiar with AzureDevOps, Git, and NuGet. The application is a next generation of the data mining and analytics application I still support as legacy. Developed application to produce auditing reports for government compliance and using NPM, pug/bootstrap, express, gulp, mocha, and others. Developed new windows service to continuously scan and upload job history data as it is completed and saved to the network. New development on an WPF engineering tool. Reporting capability improved using Word automation with factory and builder patterns. Rebuilt parser that reads proprietary job history data using SOLID principles and improved data import performance 300%. Independent of internal company produced software. Maintenance and new development of a data mining and analytics application. Client is a Prism based WPF application. The server is WCF using EF and SQL Server. Windows services use service bus with RabbitMQ. Unit testing with Fakes and Moq.
