As Senior Online Editor of Writer\'s Digest, I oversee the direction of writersdigest.com, the leader in writing and publishing instruction. I am responsible for the growth of writersdigest.com, the Writer\'s Digest Weekly Newsletter, Writer\'s Digest\'s social media channels, editorial sales and The Writer\'s Dig blog (which averages more than pageviews per month). Through writing, editing, community building, working with writers/content providers and strategic search engine optimization (SEO) work, I built a content-driven site that shares first-in-class writing advice and often gets top billing in Google searches for many key writing topics. Through my leadership I\'ve helped other employees company-wide learn how to acquire and leverage excellent content, apply SEO best practices and drive organic traffic to their sites. I have received several in-house awards and am a go-to resource in the company for online growth. Additionally, I speak at writing conferences all over the country to groups as small as 20 people and as large as people, teaching writers how to write better and get published all while promoting the Writer\'s Digest brand. I am the co-founder and co-host of the Writer\'s Market Podcast with Robert Lee Brewer and the author of the popular humor parenting book, OH BOY, YOU\'RE HAVING A GIRL.
