Over the past twenty years, my career has moved between two connected sides of financial services — advising financial institutions on M&A transactions as an investment banker, and leading capital markets, treasury, and enterprise finance strategy as a CFO. At Commerce Street Capital, I advised on 30+ whole bank transactions across the Southwest, working directly with boards and management teams through buy-side and sell-side processes and capital raises. That experience gave me a lasting framework for what drives value inside an organization — one I have carried into every operating role since.At MoneyGram International, I spent five years in progressive finance leadership roles, serving as CFO through the closing of the company\'s $1.8B sale to Madison Dearborn Partners in 2023. Across my tenure the team completed $2.6B in debt refinancings and structured a $100M equity offering that supported a credit ratings upgrade.At First United Bank and Trust, I serve as CFO of a $16.2B privately held regional bank with deep roots across Texas and Oklahoma — focused on building the financial strength and strategic discipline that allows a purpose-driven institution to grow on its own terms.
