NYU Langone Medical Center is an academic medical center located in New York City, New York, affiliated with New York University. The Medical Center comprises the NYU School of Medicine and four hospitals: Tisch Hospital, the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Hospital for Joint Diseases, and NYU Lutheran Medical Center. My responsibilities include-Maintaining and performing regular reconciliation of federal (NIH) and non-federal grant accounts for six departments, who have a combined portfolio of $150M-Preparing and reviewing ~60+ reporting packages a month to guarantee the application of Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards and sponsored programs- Ensuring financial reports and invoices are submitted to the federal and non-federal sponsors in a timely fashion-Creating monthly financial reports to assist the departments in promoting proactive management and fiscal responsibility for closeouts-Utilizing Microsoft Excel to create and enhance processes to streamline the Grant Management procedures, such as the Milestone Dashboard, which the Team Leads have fully integrated into their daily milestone reconciliation-Training both the staff and departments on our portion of Post Award Life Cycle of Research Grants.
