Commercial Lending Officer Bank of America Phoenix Credit Delivery Center. Focused on C&I financing, LC\'s plus OOCRE for relationships with $10MM or less of aggregated exposure. Currently maintain $5MM single signature credit approval authority outside of High Risk industries as deemed by the bank where concurrence of initial approval is required. Subject matter expert in government contracting, vertical & horizontal construction and transportation.Assigned to a geographic market and aligned to specific Relationship Managers. Currently support San Francisco, CA & San Diego markets, Southern California Inland Empire, Seattle & Chicago markets supported previously. Duties include but are not limited to pre-screen and advisory support to RM\'s on upcoming renewals of existing exposure, new exposure to existing clients and new exposure to prospective clients. Role is to determine viability of current request within current credit and risk appetite / policies, complete Risk Rating assessment, negotiate credit terms and pricing with RM and / or directly with client based, underwrite request(s) justifying final approval or decline. Manage assigned portfolios as to performance with proactive risk assessment review of updated financial performance, risk determination based on updated financials and review of covenant compliance. Identification of deterioration requires either quarterly monitoring or review with Special Assets Group.Support RM and local market leadership as an adviser/ partner who provides accurate and highly detailed guidance and input as to \'why\' an opportunity does not fit current credit guidelines while concurrently providing direction as to structuring transactions that will result in a \'yes\' that is within hurdle return rates. Maintain constant communication with the RM\'s with direct communication with existing and prospective clients when requested.Provide mentoring to Credit Analysts and less experienced Lending Officers when requested.
