About Brian Eisenstein

I’m launching a company focused on teaching financial literacy through the DISCIPLINE method - a structured, practical approach (and acronym) designed to help people build lasting financial confidence. My goal is to make financial education clear, actionable, and sustainable for professionals, teens, and young adults preparing to take control of their financial futures. The DISCIPLINE method blends thoughtful structure with engaging delivery: each topic includes concise lessons, memorable examples (some a little silly to make them stick), guided practice, celebrations of progress, and mini-acronyms that reinforce key takeaways. Every topic also connects to others, helping learners see the bigger picture - not just how money works, but how financial habits and choices build on one another.I bring over 15 years of experience as a CFA® Charterholder and Financial Reporting Manager in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on leadership, coaching, and training. I’m known for leading high-performing teams, streamlining reporting processes, and delivering exceptional client service.Beyond reporting and compliance, I’ve always had a passion for training and talent development. As a founding member of our Training Committee, I created and delivered internal courses, helped subject matter experts become confident trainers, and mentored colleagues to grow in their careers. I enjoy simplifying complex topics and building systems that scale. My technical expertise includes SEC filings (N-PORT, N-CEN, N-MFP), U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SOC1 compliance, and mutual fund reporting. I’ve led complex audits (with no qualified opinions for over a decade), overseen multi-client portfolios with fund projects, and managed both onshore and offshore teams. This new venture brings together my financial expertise, coaching background, and passion for education. I believe financial literacy is a core life skill - and I’m excited to help others build it through the DISCIPLINE framework.I remain open to leadership roles in financial reporting, operations, or client service - especially where process improvement and people development are valued. I also welcome select training and L&D opportunities where my CFEI® designation and communication skills can add value.Currently writing both a finance book and a baseball book. I’ve even tried stand-up comedy -because what better way to explain high yield bonds than with a punchline?
