Brian was born and raised in Hong Kong. He relocated to Adelaide, Australia in 2008 where he went on to complete his undergraduate studies. In recognition of his commitment to cross-border relations, he was awarded as the inaugural Young Professional of the Year at the Hong Kong Australia Business Association - SA Chapter Business Awards 2012.Brian returned to Hong Kong in 2012 to pursue a career in assurance and joined KPMG Corporates Audit in November that year. He later qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 while with KPMG.Having worked in industry for 3 years, Brian was on the move again in June 2021, joining PE-backed Thrive Childcare and Education in August 2021, a nursery group based in North West England and Scotland, and worked with their Nursery Acquisitions and wider Finance teams. He recently moved to Stockport-based infrastructure service providers OCU Group in February 2024.
