About Brian Coppedge

My career path has been diverse and rewarding; this diversity has made me a better employee and stronger contributor to the non-profit organization. My work at non- profit organizations has fostered creativity, accountability and ethical clarity; all traits that were recognized in my corporate work. Experiences and skills that I developed while working in the pharmaceutical industry have informed and enhanced the volunteer work I have done in my community,I have been inspired by finding points of commonality from seemingly disparate fields. The foundations of my successful sales and patient education careers came from the skills I developed as a health educator and executive director of an HIV/AIDS non-profit. In all of my work I have had the opportunity to create curricula and develop trainings with the goal of teaching key stakeholders how to help their clients/customers create change in their life. I have been fascinated with finding new ways to apply proven techniques, or searching for new techniques to apply to persistent problems.After twenty years of working to meet the health needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, I decided to spend a few years exploring the career opportunities at hotels and resorts. Over this time I have worked as a concierge at a vacation ownership property and for the in residence -dining team at an exclusive luxury resort. Everyone should stop mid- career and experience entry-level customer service jobs; these jobs have transformed how I think about establishing relationships with customers. I am proud to join the wonderful team at Napo Pharmaceuticals and to continue their inspired work helping people living with HIV to improve their quality of life and health daily.
