Spearheaded a vision and strategy that transformed a traditional philanthropy into an action-oriented, national influencer and leader on domestic public health policy and practice. From the Foundation’s third employee to its President and CEO, built the organization and executed a series of firsts including tools, projects, and writings that helped shape the national public health conversation and propel meaningful action. Drove and managed Foundation growth from a staff of three to a staff of more than 30 FTEs. Led the Foundation to Great Places to Work certifications in 2020 and 2021 (each year for which it was applied) with consistent and measurable growth in employee morale, engagement, and satisfaction. Leveraged nearly $100M in external investments from more than 20 philanthropic and private sector partners (e.g, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, CDC Foundation, Well Being Trust, Kresge Foundation, Kaiser Permanente). Created the Vose River Charitable Fund (VRCF) and serve as its board chair. VRCF is an independent public charity that collaborates with the de Beaumont Foundation and serves as a fiscal sponsor for several of its programs.
