Overview: When I joined Frogslayer it was still in startup phase. My first goal wasto understand the company culture and why things were done the way they were.Then I slowly implemented changes to enhance productivity and security while notimpacting the culture or freedom of the employees.• Remote Work: When COVID arrived, I spearheaded the remote work movement.This included security designs, and supplying and supporting a remote workforce.• SOC2 Security: I implemented an IT security strategy over a period of years. Thenwent through the process of preparation and auditing. This culminated in theachievement of the SOC2 Type 2 attestation.• Single Sign On: Conversions were completed on all internal systems to create aSingle Sign On environment. The project included migrating workloads anddirectory services to the cloud. Work was planned and staged causing minimaldisruption to employee productivity. Results include a self-documenting dashboardand auto creation and removal of employee accounts.• Cloud: Took a startup hosting business and designed a cloud infrastructure tosupport growth, security, simplicity and billing management. Setup the companyas an AWS Partner which required becoming proficient with and getting certifiedon the AWS platform. This partnership offered discounts on hosting as well asmarketing opportunities.• Networking: Implemented an active/active fully redundant network at the office(redundant ISP, firewalls, switches and APs). The system was affordable and fullydocumented.
