ABOUT BRIAN BEIDELMAN

I am a security and safety leader who builds high-reliability programs grounded in operational excellence, clear processes, and a deep understanding of human behavior. My work combines ISO-aligned quality frameworks with a people-centered leadership philosophy shaped by experience across global operations, emergency preparedness, and organizational resilience. Over the past two decades, I’ve immersed myself in the study of leadership, threat assessment, crisis management, productivity, decision science, philosophy, and behavioral psychology. This combination gives me a unique perspective: security programs must be both technically strong and emotionally intelligent, capable of scaling globally while supporting people locally. Today, I lead Global Security & Safety Operations at LinkedIn, overseeing physical security operations, environmental health & safety, emergency response, crisis operations, and GSOC functions across ~40 offices worldwide. My focus is building programs that are clear, consistent, auditable, and aligned to business needs—while also cultivating teams that think critically, learn continuously, and act with integrity. At my core, I believe the best operations are those where- Quality is built into the system—not added later - Leadership is service-oriented, calm, and human-centered - Training is a strategic investment, not a checkbox - People feel safe, supported, and empowered - Complexity is reduced through elegant, durable design - Continuous improvement comes from curiosity, not fear.
