ABOUT BRIANA RAMOS

As a first-generation Mexican-American and future Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), I strive to empower individuals to rewrite their stories and unlock their full potential by guiding them as they navigate healing, personal growth, and the journey toward self-awareness. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a double minor in African & Black Diaspora Studies and Latin-American & Latino Studies from DePaul University. I will be beginning my master\'s in clinical mental health counseling at DePaul University fall 2026.Drawing from both my academic and personal experiences, I’ve shaped a unique humanistic approach to mental health by recognizing the profound impact of culture on identity, healing, and human connection. I believe fostering a culturally responsive framework is crucial to understanding individuals and supporting their mental health in a holistic way. I’m especially committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for BIPOC communities and underserved populations. Through counseling and life coaching, I aim to guide individuals through mindset shifts, navigating personal growth, cultivating resilience, and exploring meaningful career paths.Outside of my work in psychology, I’m also beginning a career in coaching. I’ll be taking my Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) exam by the end of the year. My long-term goal is to bridge both fields, mental health and physical wellness, to emphasize their deep connection, while also honoring the distinct roles each discipline plays in a person\'s overall well-being.I\'m currently based in Chicago, IL. If my journey resonates with you or you\'re open to connecting, feel free to reach out!
