ABOUT BRIE SEWARD
I hold a Master’s in Communications from Arizona State University and bring nine years of marketing and e-commerce experience from New York and Miami, blending creative strategy with community-centered leadership.Previously, I served as Executive Director of the Autism Society of Southern Arizona (ASSA), where I led program development, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. I oversaw the Navigating Autism Program, providing critical information and referrals to individuals and families affected by autism. I also directed the annual Autism Walk and Resource Fair, which welcomed over attendees. During my tenure, I secured long-term support from partners like Arizona Complete Health and Banner University Family Care Plans. I also completed the ArizonaLEND fellowship and presented innovative autism resources at the AUCD Conference in Washington, DC.Most recently, I served as Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Social Venture Partners (SVP) Tucson. In that role, I focused on fund development, brand storytelling, and community engagement. I helped expand SVP’s impact across Southern Arizona through authentic relationship-building, strong marketing strategies, and mission-aligned partnerships. I took great pride in amplifying the stories of nonprofit leaders and connecting more people to meaningful philanthropy.Today, I’m honored to begin a new chapter with Tu Nidito, a treasured Tucson nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families grieving the loss of a loved one or a serious medical diagnosis. At Tu Nidito, I am privileged to do what I love most—connect with people and help them find purpose through volunteering. I lead efforts to recruit and guide compassionate individuals who support our grief groups, and I collaborate with school districts to expand access to Tu Nidito’s essential grief support curriculum.Rooted in the story of Jimmy Busey—a young boy who found peace in the “little nest” his mother created for him—Tu Nidito ensures that no one grieves alone. I’m grateful to be part of a mission that honors love, memory, and healing.I invite you to learn more about Tu Nidito and other agencies that are making a difference in our world. Tunidito.org.
