Deployed Oceanographic Instruments: Gained hands-on back deck experience in preparing, deploying, retrieving, and running console on the CTD Rosette, Sediment Traps, Primary Production and Gas Arrays and Wire Walkers and underway CTDs. • Conducted Post-Deployment Maintenance: Performed thorough inspections and maintenance on CTD systems post-deployment as well troubleshooting communication issues, downloading data of auxiliary sensors like LISST, UVP, Fluorometer, Transmissometer, PAR and oxygen sensors• Field Sampling Experience: Collected samples from multiple oceanographic depths and prepared them for HPLC, Nutrient, Chlorophyll, Phosphates, Nitrates, POC and DIC by filtering samples volumetrically. Helped in the collection of water samples for O2/Argon, PP, and IFCB analysis• Documentation and Reporting: Maintained detailed electronic and paper logs of 100 CTD Rosette cast and 161 underway CTD operations and more.
