ABOUT BRIAN ZAUBER REED
I currently fortunate enough to serve as a Behavioral Health Technician and Coach as well as Advanced MANDT systems instructor for the Salem-Keizer School District, and currently hold the position of Director at Large 2 for the Association of Salem Keizer Education Support Professionals local 424 (ASK-ESP) State Director District 24 for the Oregon Education Association (OEA), Judicial Committee liaison and OEA PAC board liaison. I am a dedicated union and community organizer, passionately advocating for social justice, students safety and workers rights.With over two decades community organizing spanning environmental issues and political engagement, I bring a wealth of experience to my roles. I hold a certification in Wicklander and Zulawski Investigative Interviewing, complemented by extensive background as a trainer for De-escalation, Crisis Management and Trauma Informed Care. My dedication to my local and state community drives my commitment to my fellow Oregonians.In addition, I have approximately 14 years of experience as a project manager in bio-recovery, disease control, and abatement. I\'ve had the privilege of serving as a Firefighter-EMT, Training Officer and a Emergency Response Chaplain for over a decade. My qualifications include several FEMA certifications (ICS: 100, 200, 300, and 400) and a Bachelor\'s degree in Emergency Management with a minor in Psychology. I was also honored to participate in the Ford Leadership School for Rural Development in Stayton, Oregon.In summary, my commitment to democracy, volunteering, community service, and advocacy is unwavering.
