About Brian Z.

Brian Zeng is currently a graduate of NC State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. As a student who studied Operations and Supply Chain Management, Brian enjoys analyzing processes and seeing them from beginning to end. He enjoys problems with tangible solutions and works well with a step-by-step analytical approach. He is currently learning how to analyze said processes and use real time data to project the best possible solutions. Brian’s experience has taught him crucial interpersonal, team based, and leadership skills. As a past mentor for the Impact Leadership Village, Brian has learned the definition of relational leadership through team-collaboration and interpersonal relationship building. In his 400-level classes at NC State, Brian has learned the necessary skills and concepts needed for success in the Supply Chain industry. In his latest position with Fastenal Company, Brian has begun to gain hands-on experience in a supply chain focused organization where he has participated in many operational responsibilities ranging from procurement to industry management. Brian hopes to use these skills and experiences to explore and acquire employment opportunities in the Supply Chain Management industry post-graduation.
