Responsible for system design, component sizing and selection, system integration, including motors, pumps, control valves, heat exchangers, filters, accumulators, reservoirs, measurement instrumentation, junction boxes and other components-Review customer specification documents and requirements to ensure the system design meets their needs-Work with the customer to make sure that the project design is agreed and will meet the project needs-Responsible for quoting design changes to the equipment and managing any impacts on the project cost, schedule, or requirements-Responsible for working with suppliers to get component documentation, quotes, and following up with problem suppliers to maintain project schedule-Interface with the sales engineer to ensure project scope is agreed and maintained-Work with the purchasing team to make sure components are ordered and delivered on time-Ensure that the production teams have all the requirements needed to properly construct the equipment, including requirements for materials, welding, hardware, industrial coatings, testing, tagging, inspection, packaging and shipment-Work with the quality team to solve corrective actions-Advise the warranty team if issues arise post shipment.
