I have 25+ years experience in the management, permitting and implementation of shoreline and land uses. My company provides wetland delineation, pond, lake, land management consulting and permitting for private land owners looking to improve their property and the natural resources it provides. I can provide answers to questions you have to manage your property as an educated steward of the ecosystem and suggest improvements to foster a sustainable diverse ecosystem for small and large estates. I currently manage the Land Management Department at FirstLight Power, In my role as the Senior Land Manager of CT, MA, VT, NH and PA, I manage a team that oversees all the uses of Company lands comprised of 16 hydro electric plants that operate on acres in CT, acres in MA and a 42 miles transmission line in PA. These tasks ensure the FERC Compliance and Natural Resource Management services are performed as required by the owners of FERC and State regulated dams at hydro projects. My role includes maintaining and improving stakeholder, NGO, Agency, public and elected local, state and federal officials communication. Negotiating complex resolutions to land management and natural resource challenges. The lands I manage have a foot print covering 3 of the 4 largest lakes in CT along the Housatonic River and the upper reaches of the Wild & Scenic Housatonic River, to MA from the Turners Falls Dam up the CT River into southern NH, VT and the upper reaches of the Allegheny River in PA at Locks A8 & 9 hydros and along a 42 mile transmission line.
