   Works in a collaborative manner to oversee and manage the Volunteer Services program within aDepartment-wide context, to support Master Plan mission and goals. This includes:As part of the Community Building + Partnerships Workgroup, lead staff in the delivery ofwork including volunteer programs, volunteer projects, and community engagementinitiatives- Manages, facilitates, and implements efforts designed to increase community awareness, enthusiasm and support for parks and recreation amenity and service enhancements. Work with department leadership to identify and cultivate partnership or grant prospects, develop/enhance strategic relationships, and recognize partner/community/individual engagement impact whether volunteer, funding and otherwise supportive- Supports all aspects of department fundraising/volunteerism initiatives to enhance the image of thedepartment. Such efforts will include, but not be limited to, events led by the department’s officialphilanthropic partner (PLAY Boulder Foundation), parks-related beautification/restoration projects,plantings/mulching/weedings and fundraisers. Responsible for the coordination and oversight of events and/or campaigns providing significant financial benefit to BPR capital improvement initiatives or enabling additional use of BPR programming by under-served and under-represented populations of the community- Communicate with staff, sponsors, donors, volunteers and community stakeholders in an effectiveprofessional manner to maximize the positive impression of the Parks and Recreation within the City.
