Brian Walker is President of NAI Burns Scalo (\"Burns Scalo\") and President of Burns Scalo Equities, one of the largest fully integrated professional real estate firms in Western Pennsylvania. Burns Scalo has subsidiaries specializing in investment, brokerage, development, construction, and management of more than five million square feet of commercial real estate assets. As President, Walker leads the organization\'s high-growth-focused mission with an eye on national exposure and expansion. Walker currently serves as the Chair-Elect of the Corporate Board of Directors for NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. NAIOP is the premier organization for developers, owners, and related professionals in office, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use real estate. Walker will assume the Chair of the Board role beginning January 1, 2024, where he will continue to lead the association in advancing responsible commercial real estate development and advocating for effective public policy.Before joining Burns Scalo, Walker spent 18 years as CFO of Piatt Companies, formerly Millcraft Investments, where he was directly responsible for the organization\'s overall financial management, strategic planning, and growth, as well as serving the board as Secretary and Treasurer. In 2008 and again in 2016, Walker was named Pittsburgh Business Times CFO of the Year for his exceptional work redeveloping the downtown Pittsburgh skyline. Before joining Millcraft in 2005, Walker was a partner in a Pittsburgh CPA firm specializing in tax, accounting, and consulting services, allowing him to bring a unique business perspective, extensive operating experience, and financial management to every project he touches.
