This world class facility has provided economic growth and provided recreation opportunities for an underserved region of Buncombe County•Pratt & Whitney - Worked with EDPNC, Goldenleaf Foundation, DEQ, Biltmore Farms, and local government officials to secure Pratt & Whitney’s $640 million investment in a new manufacturing facility creating 800 new jobs•Pisgah View State Park - Assisted in the creation of Buncombe County’s first state park by facilitating relationships between NC DNCR, SAHC, the Cogburn family, and a bipartisan group of legislators•H41/S35 (SL 20•••19)- Increased the min. age to marry from 14 to 16 with a maximum 4 yr difference for those under 18•H464/S86 (SL 20•••02)- Increased access to health insurance plans for independent contractors•H596/S199 (SL 20•••45)- Extend the statute of limitations for victims of child sex abuse from 21 to 28•H474 (SL 2016-7)- Reduced the regulatory burden on afterschool care for school age children, increasing access to care
